Craig Wilson Won £70 Vikas Sabharwal Won £40
Craigy Wilson was superb on the night not losing a frame against Leigh Munday, Oran Bryne or James Townsend on the way to the final. Vikas was also solid beating both Neil Cameron and Martin Smith convincingly 4-1. The final was level at 2-2 with both players missing little if anything, the next frame would put the winner “on the hill” needing just one frame to win the match. Craig won it, and in the next frame looked to be putting the match to bed with an early clearance but he missed his penultimate red into a corner pocket and let Vik in. Vik had an easy opener to start and looked like he would clear the table but couldn’t hang on to perfect position and with each ball he potted the next was getting harder and harder. Eventually, Vik missed a very slender cut into a corner pocket and left Craig with a simple clear-up.
Great final to a great singles league.
See you all next time.
